Mercury will be staying in Capricorn for this entire evaluation or reevaluation. Events that have happened in theme from Dec 12th as well as previous movements for you in this sector—being a fast sphere touching all 3 decans of Capricorn.

This time of year I feel that Merc conditionally steps in the help us get ready for the shorter nights ahead—I’m finding it interesting when the Gregorian Calendar has set its New Year.

With Mercury Rx being a household term in complaint at this point, do we really have to talk on the stereotypical themes? I think not…but if your check engine light is on during the per shadow you should probably do that to save yourself the grief or if communication in important sectors has fallen off reach out before it becomes a mess. Well, it is Capricorn Season…cold and stoic-type energy. When spheres are in Capricorn they require calm and collected effort. Mercury in Capricorn brings a relatability to this signs otherwise intimidating analytic structure. Take advantage of the problem-solving nature that you are being offered in making connections of the Goaty Side. Or if you find yourself needing a swim, you may make some messes and that is okay.

I think that we focus so much on what is accepted socially about the essence of Capricorn that we forget it is a beast of 2 creatures, often seeing the front-facing climbing goat and forgetting that they are changeable. It is much easier for a four legged animal to get around on land than one with two legs and a tail—Mythic is their own right. Mercury here may not be as playful as in some other signs but in turn, we receive knowing…depths of information and when something reaches the point of impossibility it is laid to rest without recitation. Because of this, we see two things; stark oppositions to hypocrisy, and a love of change—change not in the ways of a mutable sign, but developed, and thoughtful.

Taurus Honestly darling, no one whats to hear about your spiritual awakening/realization, or directive in your beliefs right now because they aren’t flushed out and sound like solicitation—it’s just not going to land at the moment because it doesn’t have feet—really listen to who is advising you and what you are paying them for. You may have been planning a big trip, considering academia or teaching something, and seeing that it might not happen, it will…you understand that good things take time and this area of your life has been going through BIG transformations. You got this, don’t get discouraged or disappointed when others don’t want to hear it—just take a step back, reflect on getting things in order, and take the time to backtrack.

Gemini Other people’s affairs, the eighth house is one of mystery…where the 4th is private and the 12th is mental the eighth is everything most people don’t want to talk about—even avoid. It’s where stigma lives. Its what happens after or outside of human life, so when I see Mercury Rx here I automatically think, “oh, there are affairs that need to be put in order”… consolidating debt, or communications coming in from across the veil are filled with static and potential trickery. Delays on the hard talks about what is next, this is also not a good time for trading. Buckle down and assess the long-term of how you can provide with others because they are not going to hear it right now.

Cancer Close relationships may feel like they are at a standstill as if you are speaking different languages. In these cases (like most others), my advice is always to give it time. This is also the house that I see most often wanting to or reaching out to an ex. Take some consideration into this. Miscommunication isn’t always misunderstanding but misrepresenting. Use this time to flush out what you want and mend what is currently in your life…there are better times and even times when your past will come on its own.

Leo Laughing it off catches up to you, internalizing your working relationships does have its downfalls. If your job is in the form of delivery make sure your vehicle has been serviced. Be mindful of your words with co-workers, especially the ones you know don’t like you. Drink more water and check your blood pressure…again, drink your water, I know that you’re not.

Virgo Declutter the closet and vacuum your trunk, you know you want to and it clears your head—this way you can make space for the creative pursuits you have thrown on the back burner because they aren’t ‘practical’. Maybe get back to that book you started last year, but from the beginning, and edit as you go. In your romantic pursuits (if you are in a relationship or starting one) it may be time to consider who is traveling more, or if the physical intimacy is matching the balance of what is needed to move forward, you know ‘the talk’.

Libra Your home and safe space tend to get a little out of order from how you like it. I know that its hard to just make the choice sometimes and say what’s on your mind because a conflict of any kind can shut down your nervous system…so consider what about your private life needs structure, being avoidant and letting others steer does work for you but it’s also what leads you to abrasive scenarios when it’s not what you thought you said and maybe said in your head.

Scorpio The house of siblings, communication, daily travel…in the ways of communications and daily travel it is emphasized in the ways that this is where we hear and see the biggest household complaints all around. I feel like this time of year you know what to do fairly plainly and regardless of your mars placement make sure to keep your head on straight and not go straight to stinging people in the mundane frustrations.

Sagittarius Hmmm, your basic needs, and housing is the focus this time of year. Your delays are in communication and getting around, maybe being late to work, bills not going through, our very foundational parts of human life. Deep breaths, and don’t rush if you can help it.

Capricorn Maybe it’s all in your head but it’s probably not. Be cautious of your hands, jamming them indoors, a knife slipping (this goes for Cap Suns and Moons too depending on the sect). The first house is the body and mind—of the self itself. Your evaluation at this time is of this, how you move in your daily life, how you speak, and you’re probably too hard on yourself—but it’s okay to spend this time making edits aaand mistakes, just don’t project or impose them onto others…
